1989 to 2003 K1500 disk brake conversion.

I have an older disk brake conversion I'm converting to newer style 2003 Suburban hardware. Front is straight forward, I'm just pondering ahead of work on the rears. Have all the hardware and steel 20mm spacers, here's the thing these are square pattern spacers and the truck has the oddball rectangular axle flange. For plumbing do I want to clock the calipers to same as oe at a 9:00 position or follow where ever the square flanges meet- I'll have to drill/slot the welded flange.......or have the spacers welded in the newer diamond configuration- mig welded to the original axle flange front and back of plate.

Another item I ran into- 89 front knuckle has a seal at he CV/knuckle the used 03 knuckle has nothing??
