Another odd color combo

There have been a few odd color combo threads recently. I found this one interesting with the orange highlander seat...currently for sale on craigslist (wish it was mine, but it's not!)

Re: Another odd color combo

Sure is odd. I mean, of the four colors offered they made one to match that color of paint! And that wouldn't be a green on green truck. It would be green with parchment interior that has a green accent. Very classy. Oh, but that's in my eyes. You never know. I think blue would be awesome?

Maybe the person who ordered it has a food weirdness where the sight of an avocado together with an olive makes them sick. Anyone ever seen a medium olive truck with red interior? You know, olive stuffed with pimento?

Nice Truck!

Re: Another odd color combo

Me too, any kind of odd combo. I started out going for loaded top of the line bells & whistle trucks, as most collectors do. But migrated on the appreciating the unique combinations. Like a '72 Custom with all the options people come to expect on a Cheyenne Super, or truck with all the HD trucky type stuff and nice interior stuff like Buckets/tilt/ac. If I changed my user name it would be Odd Combo

Re: Another odd color combo

I think it looks good. I wouldn't believe it looked good if I hadn't seen it. Green and orange sounds really strange.

Re: Another odd color combo

My first house had the original green and orange shag carpet. Built in '73, that was the first thing I replaced when I bought it in '86!
