Hickey Axle Trusses
I have the opportunity to pick up a set of hickey axle trusses for 200 bucks, is this worth it? and is there anything i should look for ?

Don't get blinded by the fact that they may be Hickey stuff. A lot of other companies made these such as ConFer. I would first of all make sure that they fit your axles. I assume you have a dana 44 front and 12 bolt rear. Axle trusses were made for all types of axles and its not one size fits all. I used to have a set on a jeep that were made for a Dana 30 front and AMC 20rear. Also make sure that you get all of the brackets, and check the threaded portions to make sure thaey are not stripped.
