First car show

My grandson and I took our truck to its first car show on Sunday. I don't have the interior finished yet but we went anyway. We were put in the 1960 and up truck class. And we got third place !! I was very happy and there were a lot of awesome trucks there too!

Congrats! Love the truck and really like the stance. What front/rear drop is that?

It is about a 2 inch drop front and rear. I am not sure because it was dropped when I got it 10 years ago.

I am not sure if you notice but it is two tone paint. I am very happy with the way it turned out. Still have some bugs to work out.

Very Nice!! I remember the 1st truck show that dad took me to it created a lasting memory and a real love for these trucks. Your grandson will have this memory for life! Paul Jr @ GMCPauls

Nice looking truck !

I see you have a 72 k10 under restoration, so do I. Maybe we'll meet at a show some day.
What show did you go to ?

Looks great, especially like the 2 tone paint scheme.

Re: First car show

I did notice the two tone and the darker color on the roof and hood is actually almost spot on for what I think my truck may have on its roof and interior if/when I ever get to that point.

The truck is just a thing but the memories you make with your grandson are precious beyond measure.

Nice gmc. I got a soft spot for them now. I rember when I took my 71 GMC to its first car show. It was the only GMC thare. It was kida cool. Thare where 2 67s chevys and 1 or 2 72 chevys. Can't remember for shure. But I had the only gmc. Made me feel special.

Re: First car show

Glad to see it was a Lions Club sponsored show.

Great organization, doing great work around the globe.

Congratulations on placing!
