Back of cab bowed from factory?

Hey guys I noticed my back window looks bowed in on the bottom. I put a straight edge below the window and its bowed in the middle about 3/16". But the body line below the window is straight.

I wonder if it was hit by something in the bed at one time …

Re: Back of cab bowed from factory?

I have a 67 I'm working on now that has that same area bend , The problem is with all the interior structure your not going to move it easily ,I'm going to use a porta power to try to move that section by bracing the porta power base on a 4x4 going across the cab from the lower door jam to lower door jam to have a solid push . For the small amount it has to move this should work .

Yes, the back of the cab and glass have a slight bow in them. I tried to put a back glass in and some how got the rubber on backwards and it would not go in.The bow in the glass made it not fit. Realized what happened and switched the rubber and it went right in.I was 19 at the time. That was a lot of birthdays ago!
