Question 1976 spid sheet location?

Ok I know this sounds stupid but where is the spid sheet location in my 1976 c10?
I can't seem to find one in the glove box any where and I don't see any remains of one either. Maybe its missing or I just have over looked it?

My '76 has it on the glove box door.

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

Look on the inner fenders in the engine bay. Some 73-76 trucks had em there.

Unhappy Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

Ok I got out and looked but nothing in the glove box but the sticker that says do not push or pull this vehicle to start it... bla bla whatever.

All so looked under the hood but nothing but spare tire instructions and vehicle
emissions info.

I'm guessing that it's long gone?

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

My 76's was inside the gb door. If it's in the engine compartment, it's normally on the driver's side wheelwell, a little bit in front of the hood hinge/master cylinder area.

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

I never saw a 76 with the sticker in the glove box. That would make too much sense. All of mine had them on the inner fenders.

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

I found a build sheet stuffed in the seat springs. The paper was very brittle and the seat was from a 1980 the build sheet was not for my 76 pickup. If your seat hasn't been swapped you may find a build sheet there.

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

I bet if it was on the glove box it fell off or some one changed the glove box liner because hinge broke.

Re: 1976 spid sheet location?

Well I found a sheet of paper under the seat.
It's crumbling apart but most of it is there.

If any body is interested in it I will be posting some pics of it in my build thread in a day or so. (I still have to take some pictures)
