Re: Sidetracked! What other projects are you working on? Pics!

I really need to get a grip on all our projects. We have WAY to much going on, in addition to the 52 we have a 66 Corvair and a drag boat that my dad is messing with. I have a 69 Camaro that I try to work on in between all my other stuff. My younger brother has a 72 Nova and a Jr Dragster and is currently looking for a dragster for his daughter. The Jr will be sold for her to move up. Wow I'm embarrassed by how ADD I am on all this stuff......is there some sort of 12 step program that I need to look into?

Here are a couple of pictures.

I could only find a picture of my niece from a couple of years ago when she was younger.

Re: Sidetracked! What other projects are you working on? Pics!

Maybe this can be the thread where we talk about our issue and how we can "remedy" it. lol! I vote for more 12 packs and more help, but there is definitely no need for more projects!

Ok that is really cool! I always wanted to do a pedal car or something for my grandson but never got around to it.

One thing about it, we aren't a bunch of people with a narrow focus when it comes to what we are working on.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Fall 2011 : I rebuilt my pick up trailer that I built back in 1977. Stripped it down to the frame, blasted and powder coated it, added a new body, tool box and wiring.

Re: Sidetracked! What other projects are you working on? Pics!

Fall 2012 : Bought a '69 Airstream, Replaced the axles, Pulled the interior to refinish the furniture, replace the flooring and appliances . Then found the sub floor around the edges of the rear bathroom rotted.

Winter 2012 : Wife discovers she has a fast growing tumor that cut off the airway to her right lung, started radiation Jan 2 and Cemo Jan. 15. Fortunately the first shot of radiation started to shrink the tumor and now her right lung is back on line.

All projects on hold as I support her.

G&R... sorry to hear. Hope the situation continues to improve.

No. Beer + help makes it worse. You can't always tell what the outcome will be. And don't set up a vcr with a copy of "Mad Max" to watch between projects...

Re: Sidetracked! What other projects are you working on? Pics!

I'm doing a Mini Cooper with a Honda engine transplant using a kit from Super Fast Minis. Should be painted by next week. Unfortunately my truck has lost its priority. Struggling to motivate myself to finish it.

Re: Sidetracked! What other projects are you working on? Pics!

Haha...no. *I don't think the S2000 would fit. *In order for the Civic engine to fit, I had to cut the inner fenders out. *This kit comes with a new subframe and is designed for the Civic engine. The one I bought has 130 hp but the car originally had less than 50 I think. *This is my first attempt at an import so I'm a little bit lost. More pics:
