Are certain years easier to bag?

Probably a stupid question but Im looking for a c10 and I really like the early 60's, but also the square bodies....

I plan to eventually do air ride, so I was curious if that should sway my decision at all....are there better kits/parts for one generation of truck than the other? Easier/less fab work?
Does it matter?
Thanks!

Re: Are certain years easier to bag?

63-72 Chevys (not GMC's though) are super easy to bag. You can do a simple kit in a weekend. You wont go very low but on those years you can bolt bags into where the springs are.

As I was writing this I forgot I posted one that me and a few buddies did in a day and a half.

oh wow that is quick! So to get lower on that truck, cutting/raising the bed and a bigger notch in the rear. remove or cut inner fenders in the front?

You wont get much lower than the pictures I posted without more significant work.

You can get an inch or two more in the front if you cup the arms. The rear can go an few inches lower with a step notch but your arms will hit the frame before you lay out.
