Re: Papi's 72 bagged burb

I wired up most of my lights today! led taillights, sidemarker lights and back up lights. it sucked because i had to change most of the plugs and some wires! but in all i put in work and everything is working good! and i removed all the tape and plastic and everything else! installing wheels and hid headlights and maybe dash tomorrow! i installed the rear view mirror and sun visors aswell.Attachment 891261

[QUOTE=CharlesUFarley;5256595]where did you get the LED tail lights for the burb. i have its twin brother and was thinking about using LED.

i purchased the led kit from LMC truck. the led kit cost $100. a bit pricey i think but easy to install. no need to put an electric flasher or any modifiying the wires. well this truck came from right down the street from you! it came from moreno valley and transported to its new home in the Show ME State!!

thanx fellas!! i know i'm far from being a builder but I know what i like. there are people that are traditional and frown upon certain things. i'm not here to please those people. This is my first build in this type of vehicle I'm in all senses a "Newbie" but hope to gain some kudos from this in my LOWRIDING community but aswell as this group.

Hey you keep building it how YOU wan't to build it, and don't look back! How fun would the car scene be, if they were all stock, and looked the same. I've always loved the lowrider world, but never jumped into that type of build. I build 'em low, but not in true lowrider tradition. That's an art, and lifestyle to be proud of. Can't wait to see it finished.

Here's a picture of a gold lowrider burb I stashed in one of my folders because I really dig the look.

Yes. It was my brothers he passed from cancer. Since his passing it was given to me. Now I have the honor to keep it going. I will one day give it to his son.

Well a friend of mine works for a company that laminates wood. Using the original panels he covered them. I bought some fabric paint from LMC. He used that to match the factory color. The match is right on with factory panels and interior. I'll try to get more pics today.

thanks for the respect. it's been 9 months since his passing and i have done work to have it running and all the hydarulics working properly. i even showed it at the world of wheels show this past february. I take my nephew out on cruizes or just ride around to put a smile on his face. i will give him the car once he's old enough to drive. i plan to do some memorial murals and candy paint the car.
