'72 Cheyenne Super 496 at the track

Finally picked up a pair of drag radials for the cruiser and drove it to the track Friday night. I went with the M/T 275/60/15's (not the pro's) and stuck them on my 15x10 street wheels. Ran them @ 20 psi and they worked fantastic. Ended up running a best of 12.15 @ 109 mph. Here's a video of a 12.30 after trying to get the starting line RPM up. The converter doesn't seem to be working like it should and will end up being swapped for a new one. I took it over the scales and it weighed 4480 with me in it.

I didn't get on the brakes too hard, but it does look like I did.

4480 with a big block isn't too bad!

My stepside '70 with the turbo LS weighs 4150 with me in it a half fuel in the cell.

Your truck sounds great and runs strong. Cool machine.
