need help ASAP
A while ago I heard a pop and smelled a burning smell in the 1 ton. After that the amber and clearance lights would light up with the brake lights and turn signal/hazard lights don't work. I tried changing the turn signal switch in the column since I thought it might be shorting out in there.. and now the turn signal/hazard don't even work. Idk if I installed the switch wrong or what's going on. Help is really needed, I'd like to get it working again for this weekend. Thanks

i would find where the pop and the burn came from asap... fix that and the other problems should go away.

That's what I'm trying to do haha. I couldn't locate the proplem the night it happened because it was dark out and can't see anything out of the ordinary. I tried replacing the turn signal switch which now the lights don't brighten with the breaks..but turn signal still doesn't work. Is there a thread someplace showing the correct way to double check my work.

 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=511762 should be enough diagrams and links in there to give you everything you want to know about lights and blinkers. You should be able to Toucan Sam the burn/pop. it lingers and stinks. Follow your noseeeeeee. |
