12 bolt question
Anyone know the difference between the 12 bolt car and truck rearends? Are they splined different? Are the carriers the same, just different spider gears? Will any GM 12 bolt ring and pinion work, or were they different? I know this has probably been covered before, but since search is disabled, figured I would ask.

From what i have heard they are different. The car is actually supposed to be stronger, it has bigger bearings or somthing.
The ring and pinnion gears are also different.
