For Sale 1986 C10

UPDATE SOLD

Time has come to let her go. Not completely original, but very close. PO before I bought it, had done some aftermarket stuff. In the 10 years I have owned it, I have made changes to get it back to the original look. NO RUST!! Title in hand. I just had it appraised last year for classic Car insurance. Appraised at $28,500
This is a super clean truck. I have restored the interior, it was previously Burgundy, but I changed it to Charcoal.
350. PO had swap out the 305
2/4 drop with 18” Ridlers.
New interior. Dash pad is the original dash pad, with no cracks!
All the interior parts were cleaned, prepped and dyed Charcoal. No wearing off of the dye. I did this about 7-8 years ago and it still looks good.
Door Panels are from USA1 Industries. ACC Carpet. Headliner recovered.
Way too many things to list, but I’ll update as I think of things, or if asked.

Re: For Sale 1986 C10

I do have NOS door cranks, just haven’t swapped them out with what I have now, which is an older style, which are not plastic.
Also have the fender emblems, just never decided on installing them. They are all double sided and ready.

Is your asking price the same as appraised price?

Yes, asking $28,500. I know it’s unlikely to get the asking price. But that’s the starting point

The NOS hood was painted. The P.O. had a cowl induction hood on there, and I found a NOS hood. So it was painted, along with blending into the fender, where I had drop a shelf and it chipped the paint. He also painted the cowl at the same time, because of minor chips. Other than that, it is the original paint.
Since then, it was cut, buffed and coated.

I’ll add more pictures in the next post.

Has a little wear on the paint, because the P.O. had a bed liner. But there is no rust. Very clean. Let me go see if I can pull a little back and get a picture. I’ll post it up as soon as I get some.
Update: Added a few pics. I do have a rubber mat under the carpet. Actually forgot that was there. But I pulled back what I could to get pictures. I have the back loaded down with chairs, tent and the cover right now.
But the entire bed looks just like this right here.

Took Big Red to a local show last evening. There was a whooping 617 cars in attendance!
BTW, the hood does stay up. I just like in midway to show the beautiful hood AND the engine bay.

Re: For Sale 1986 C10

Back when I did the Carpeted Bedliner, I think I actually got the last one. I’ve never seen them for sale agin for our trucks. It was either this or a colored spray-in bed liner, which I did on another one of my trucks. Those are nice too, but this is so easy on the knees. So since I was able to get the carpet, that what I choose for this truck for going to the car shows.
Since I have a tonneau cover I never had to worry about it getting wet.
