If anybody on here knows the builder of this let me know. Apparently it was done in California about 4-5 years ago.

Short answer yes but I want to make it my own and change things up a bit. I already started on my other 72 burb. So two projects at the same time

Nice ride! I tried to buy that truck a couple of times but it never worked out. Probably a good thing though, 4 projects going already. I have a 72 that I am taking the roof off of so I will not be using the glass if you some.

Re: bought this today

Nice looking project, I am curious how the back liftgate is done, is it hinged at the top? I do not see any tell tale signs of any hinges anywhere on the door, if you could show a couple pics of how they done it I would appreciate it,

I'll post some pictures later but the lift gate is actually built with two Barn doors and hinged with two electric lift motors

Re: bought this today

Very cool looking ride!

Someone definitely put a lot of effort into it.

Gotta say the "woody" has some old school cool to it too! Definitely needs a surfboard to complete the look though.

Good luck with the build. I'd love to see what you have in mind for it.

I'm pretty sure Bob Grant of Grant Kustoms did the work

Don't think it's the same one either. My 3rd door is streched.

Re: bought this today

Slowly getting the motor to fire... after two mechanics I finally figured out why I wasn't getting spark. The retaining clips that hold all the wires together when plugging into the ecu were missing. I also changed out the original optispark and coil for the MSD. Here's the ideas for all three bench seat designs
