Green seat belts

I pulled these seat belts out of a 71 Chevrolet pickup to sell and the question I have is it common for the center buckle to be black? If so do you know why?
Thanks

Re: Green seat belts

No, they sold all match and the white tag tells the year. Should all match.

What he said. A few months ago I replaced my OEM green belts with new 3-point belts. The old ones all matched.
