Ill see what i can find. 20 bucks is the lowest price that ive found. I go to alot of wreaking yards, scored a 99 F-body 5.7/6spd harness for 40 bucks last week.

I asked this question in another thread but I will ask it here for those who are following this thread. Do I replace the oil cooler lines with the T-fitting for the oil pressure sending unit or do I tap the oil lines block?

Some people remove the oil pressure sending unit from the back of the engine and use a 16mm X 1.5 to 1/8NPT adapter and use that for their oil pressure line/sender. The PCM doesn't need the oil pressure sender (from what everyone tells me). I am having a T made for that location so I can have both (I believe a scanner, Tuner and things like an aeroforce gauge can read the stock sender)

Thanks I have the Dakota Digital gauges so I need to use the sending unit for that. Will the ECM give an error code if the original sending unit is not there?

I have been told no. Most of the harness people I talked to eliminate that connector.

Please don't take my word for it though and ask some others.

Do you know what thread your gauge requires? I'm pretty sure there will be a 16mmX1.5 adater to whatever it is.

I just looked on their site and their senders are 1/8 NPT so that adapter will work if you don't need the factory sender.

Who is doing your harness/tune. Ask them

Yes it is 1/8 npt. Wait4Me Performance is doing my harness and tune

you dont need the Oil pressure sending unit, the PCM does not throw a code.
I used said adaptor and mechanical gauge.

Well the weather is warming up with no rain and the guy that is helping me pull the old motor....... OK I'm helping him, his mother is in the hospital and not doing very well so I sit and wait. Here are a few pic from my day at the local pull-a-part, got all this for $25.00 and the old guy thought he was ripping me off! I have been pricing this stuff on ebay and I could not get the air cleaner for that and this one also has the MAF sensor. Is any one else using the stock fuse box from the donor truck? Do I need this or is there something else that I should use?

I am working a little on the truck and a lot on my patience While I had it apart I put a set of Z06 Valve springs with titanium retainers and keepers with new valve seals and a set of Comp Cams .080 wall push rods. I did this now because when I get it in and running I may want to put a set of 1.8 roller tip rockers on it too help with the low end torque.

Doubt if you'll need to improve the low end torque of a 6.0

Man you got a smokin deal on the parts. Our local pull a part doesn't get this stuff ever, if it does the good ole boys get first dibbs on everything. I am considering using the stock fuse box if possible. Keep it up!
