Customized in cab gas tanks

Has anyone seen or done them selves customized in cab gas tanks ?

I just came across a pic of one where they used it as a boom box . There was an access panel and 2 large speakers mounted in it. Yes it was in the truck.

After seeing this I got all kind of ideas .

Anyone else , ever see this kind of use for the old tanks

Re: Customized in cab gas tanks

I use mine to keep gas in...

In all seriousness, I don't see much of a point trying to do something with the tank besides hold fuel. You'd be better off just removing it and using the space for something else.

With regards to a sub box: I can't imagine a more rattly sub box than an empty steel tank.
