Re: My Suburban project while I'm back in college.

Mine is mostly the same color as the outside. Just not the green that they didn't paint over in the past.

Great thread. I like the price breakdown along the way.

As far as the wheels, are they the correct offset/bolt pattern for our trucks? What about the weight rating for the wheels?

Re: My Suburban project while I'm back in college.

Nothing new done to the burb, life stepped in and slowed things down. I did pick up a Holley Pro-jection today. Got everything but the ECU. I paid $50 for the throttle body, all the wiring, fuel pump and mounting hardware. Missing a few little things. But for $50 I did good. I did buff out a 4ft spot on the hood lol. I was bored. Gonna clear out the garage soon and start some body work. I got a friend at Sikins so I get super hooked up on supplies. Pictures coming soon.

Re: My Suburban project while I'm back in college.

So a little up date, haven't been able to da anything lol. I did take it camping, was nice to not have to set up a tent. Just slpet in the back. And I didn't work this summer so funds were to low. But I am back in the game now. Clearing out the garage, was gonna drop $2k in suspension. But my transmission decided it wanted to piss all over my drive way. So gonna do motor and trans now. And in January I will do my suspension, lowering rebuild, all disck break and 5 lug conversion. Did my home work, the wheels from the new Camaros will work. The 2SS Camaro weighs like 3400lbs, and since I wont be off roading the burb, I should be just fine. So I hope to have pics in the next week or two.
