Panhard bar/ trac bar ?

Finishing up my parallel four link on my 64 c10. Putting in a new panhard/trac bar. In order to get the bracket to mount to the diff and not get in the way of anything I will have to mount it to the frame about 6” more than normal giving the bar a decent angle. Will this cause any issues? Or do they need to be as close to parallel to the diff as possible?

Re: Panhard bar/ trac bar ?

If it is not parallel to the axle it will have a tendency to pull the axle over harder or faster then if it were parallel. Which can lead to the rear end feeling wonky under harder turns when the tires physically move in there relationship to the truck making it feel loose.

This really matters when you have the tires close to the lip of the truck. Because you can have up to 1" of pull in a worst case scenario.

Also if you pan hard or track bar is too short it can have similar results.
