87 TBI to 92 TPI

I have a 87 2wd with a 305 TBI I have drove 12 years. Recently I bought a junked 92 Z28 with a 350 TPI and was thinking about switching it into the truck. Has anyone out there ever done this before? Any info would help. Painless sells a wiring harness but I was wondering if someone knew a cheaper route?
