Removing tweed & spray glue from door panel

I have a set of squarebody door panels that were covered with tweed a long time ago.
I am wanting to pull off the tweed & try to restore them back to a semi-factory look.

Any suggestions on something strong enough to remove the glue without damaging the plastic?

Also any tips for removing the tweed?
