Six lug front rotors

I've talked to alot of people on here, a bunch of info. I have the 81 front crossmember on my 64 it has the light duty 1" rotors that are five lug. I have heard that the 89 2500 2wd rotors that are 6 lug fit on the 81 light duty spindles. Anyone have any specs on this?

Re: Six lug front rotors

The '88-'98 light duty C2500 rotors are 6 lug and they will fit onto the '73-'87 spindles for the 1.25" rotors, but the calipers and pads will not line up with the rotors. I do not know if they would fit the spindles for the 1" rotors. I believe the bearings for the 1" rotors are different.
