LS Standalone Harness - PSI or 150tunes?

I am at the point where I need to start thinking about a a harness for my LS. I have a harness that I have pretty much paired down to what I need. I also have a Current Performance SA-1500 fuse block to complete that harness. My problem is time. It is very limited so I am trying to find the best route to the end. I have a neighbor who has a harness from PSI and it is pretty nice. I also like to support the little guy and have talked to 150tunes.com in the past. They now offer complete standalone harnesses for a very reasonable price.

So my question is, what is the general consensus on PSI and 150tunes?

I am still torn on completing the harness I have or selling it and the CP fuse block.

Thanks!
Nick

Never heard of 150 tunes. PSI's been used by some guys, you've also got FuelInjectionConnection, BP Auto, and Brendon (Brandon?) from LT1swap that reworks harnesses.

Thanks guys. He is a one man band operation in Washington state. I actually head about him on the show Trucks a few years back. They used him for an LS swap.

Current Performance. I've used them several times.

A friend of mine used 150tunes. I wasn’t impressed. It just didn’t look very nice. He mentioned poor communication with the company. I used Current performance for my harness modifications and couldn’t be more pleased.

I talked to BP and he seemed pretty knowledgeable they do not offer fan relays in the harness, he said that should be closer to the fans and not in the cab. They sell the relay harness for the fan separate.

any thoughts on this ?

Re: LS Standalone Harness - PSI or 150tunes?

This is all great info. I really appreciate it!

I've got a relay center that I built already installed in the truck from the previous set up. I have it mounted right next to the radiator. I wouldn't want that all in the truck. The power feed would have to be pretty big for each fan. That would not be fun. My fans draw damn near 30 amp each.

I used Swap Specialties for all three of my swaps.

I like the swap specialties fuse box, did you get it with the fan relays ? if so how big is the wire to run the fans seeing the relays are so far away ?
The things that I thought of when comparing BP auto and swap specialties,
swap is $75 more for the PCM tune and the 02 sensors are $49 more and to go with mesh they are $50 more and basic harness is $15 more if using a electronic trans,
But the fan relay is $35 cheaper but it is so far away from the fans and I heard that is not ideal.

Yes, I got the box with 5 relays, 2 of them were for the fans. Plenty of wire to get to your fans. And the harness looks good with the mesh on it and heat shrink on the ends.

I've heard of most all the others mentioned including 150 but I went with PSI. I'm satisfied.

I used bill over at bp automotive. He makes a beautiful harness and his customer service was outstanding.
