Need Step Ideas

Ok guys, I need to some help. I am one of the pickiest when it comes to the look of my truck. I need some ideas for a step. I have looked at every bolt on application and have yet to like anything. What ideas or pictures do you have. I am willing to fab a step. Thanks in advance.

Links of chain with a steel strap between them. Not pretty. Just as functional as it gets. That's what I'd do. Functional rules on 4wds in my book. I first saw this on an earth mover. These steps don't bend when you high center and you can cinch them up if you're worried about snagging them while 'wheelin'.
There once were these cast aluminum steps that actually looked good. Just big enough to place your foot and angled up. Those were the only steps I ever considered buying. I think C.A.R.R. made them.

I had thought about making something more like a stirrup & attaching it with the same bolt that holds the front seat mount to the floor. Open the door to get in & flop it out, then when inside pull it back up so nothing outside the truck.
