ho52 to dana 60 yoke u-joint??

hi all, Just picked up a dana 60 out of a 71 gmc 3/4 4x4. I am swapping it into my 72 3/4 4x4 which currently has an ho52. the perch width on the dana 60 is 40.5 and both shocks are facing forward so from what i have read this is a direct bolt in. i am not sure about the yoke though. Will the stock yoke from the dana 60 work with current u-joint or do i need to modify the dana 60??

thanks in advance for any help.

Also, I have the backing plates off the original axle for drum brakes if anybody is interested? They need to be blasted and painted and should be good to go. I hear their really hard to find.

Chris

As long as the u-joint fits snug and does not move side to side when installed
