parking brake cable woes 72 k-10

Im having a heck of a time finding parking brake cables for my project. Its a 72 frame and axles, dana 44 and 12 bolt rear. They are the original axles and the frame is a confirmed 72 frame by the serial numbers. Its a LWB truck. I found a NAPA part number UP92416 and got those. Everything looked and installed right except for the cable housing is abt 3-4 inches short of being able to hook into the factory brackets on the frame. The cable I have measures 29" for the housing. I need the housing to be abt 35-38" long. LMC doesn't list anything and none of the FLAPS do. NAPA list a cable for a 69 that seems to have the right dimensions, but they can only locate 1 nation wide! Can someone help????

Try inlinetube.com, If they don't have them, they will make them.

If you can't find one, madisonpowersystems.com is great.

Re: parking brake cable woes 72 k-10

Thanks for the links guys!
Did a little searching and it appears that most all of the aftermarket cables available end up too short!

Called up Inline Tube and ordered a set yesterday, great folks to deal with!
