10 bolt knuckles on a 44
can i use 3/4 ton knuckles from 10 bolt front on a dana 44 front

as long as its the later small hub 44 everything from knuckle out should interchange if i remember right.

cool its the later 70's model dana 44 out of like a 78 or so i think had the standard lockouts like all fullsize 4x4's in the 80's

If you swap EVERYTHING from the knuckles out it will be fine. I had Dana 44 external lockouts on a temporary 10 bolt till I swapped the 44 in. Actually used the 10 bolt knuckles with the 44 hubs rotor etc on it.

Good info. I just put a 4.10 10-bolt 8-lug in my Jimmy. I have a Loc-Right for a Dana44 and want to swap one in. I was looking for an 8-lug but I guess any Dana44 will do.

you can swap just the spindle out to get the 8 lug stuff the reason i wanted to swap the knuckle out is i bought a 8 lug ten bolt with good ball joints an 4:10s an i have a dana 44 with bad ball joints an 4:56 gears to match my rear
