Re: LED Headlight Issue

Glad you got it figured out, looks good. One thing to remember is that these LED lights (compared to stock style) have a much more precise light pattern and are designed to keep the light on the road and out of oncoming traffic, so adjusting these is a little different than the stock style.

Yeah I can see the nice sharp cutoff but the way my truck is the lights are very low and pointed down. If you look at my lights from the side compared to the grill you can clearly see they are aimed straight up as far as they can but they need to be up a little more to send the light a little farther on low beam. High beam they are perfect but I cant be running around in high beam everywhere. I live out in the country and there's no street lights and lots of dear!

This is what happened to my Led /Halogen headlight set up on my 39 Chevy ..a wire was loose up under the dash and therefore I had a no show for the the bright on drivers side.

How are they mounted into the grille. If they use the self adjusting screws they have packs of them at the local parts houses here that can let you adjust them more. They have different length ones in the packs. Maybe place some small washers on them to space it up. Not sure without know how they are mounted though. Can you post some pictures of the mounts?
The lights look great though.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Before I did the installed I ordered new adjusters and springs from rock auton and installed them there is an adjusted at 12 o'clock and 9 o'clock and the spring is at about 4 o'clock. The two adjuster screws are all the way in right now causing the top of the headlight to push into the grill and bottom away from the grill...

Are you sure the spring is set right? I had a heck of a time with my 64 SS Impala getting the lights adjusted when I swapped them for new H4 bulb lights. Come to find out the spring was not seated right and had to much tension on the bulb housing.
Can you loosen the top screw some to let it angle up a bit. May try different mounting locations change them around since you installed the new housing you may need to get longer screws maybe even some all threaded rod to use for the adjusters. They where for regular bulb housing and now you have the Jeep LED housing. Just a thought.

Re: LED Headlight Issue

I'll look it over again, I did think it seemed to have to much spring tension. I did remove the springs a couple times and even tried the old springs with the same results. It appears the springs only go in 1 way unless I'm missing something.

Re: LED Headlight Issue

.
The light looks nice.

Your low beam shot appears to show the driver side beam slightly "lower" than the passenger side. I noticed this because it looks nearly the same as my Daily Drivers HID light pattern which is designed to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded by the bright light.

Mine are self adjusting so they adjust their height at each ignition sequence and then continually during driving. Each lens kicks out a pattern that looks like this...(this is one headlight )

_______________/---------------------

...where the left part of the beam is lower than the right part of the beam and there is a distinct ridge between the two beam heights. When combined, the two beams form a hard cut off light cone that is clearly "lower" on the left ( oncoming vehicles ), "higher" on the right and brightest in the middle.

______________/-----------------------/------------------------

...The dotted lines are the higher part of each beam. In the middle, between the two transition points, is the "high" portion of the driver headlight and the "low" portion of the passenger headlight which gives the maximum roadway light coverage down the center line of the vehicle ( between the two beams of light ).

Part of getting the correct alignment is bringing the beams together horizontally too so that the above combination of beams gets you the maximum coverage in the right spot.

I have in the past aimed my driver beam further toward the left side of the roadway to gain a bit more coverage that direction ( taking into consideration the high/low cutoff point of the beam per headlight ).

I'm not completely sure if your lenses have this low left/high right thing built into them...so this may or may not be helpful.

You are most likely not missing anything but if you are able to post some pics it might help. Your truck sits pretty low and there is only so much adjustment you can get from the stock style adjusters without things starting to look odd on your front end with grill pointing down and headlights aimed way up high. From the night pics you've posted so far your low-beam pattern does not look that bad, you might want to drive it a while before making any drastic changes.
