Re: 1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

Thanks for the compliments. I had a goal of getting it done or at least close by fathers day. Not going to make it. Still have a few panels to sand and buff plus wiring, exhaust, install glass etc. I work 50 to 60 hrs a week at my day job and then pretty much every spare minute I can find in the garage on the truck. I don't take the time for pictures and shop clean up like I should. I will get some more pictures and details posted at some point. I have gained sooooo much useful information from this site and I am very grateful to the people that take the time to post info!

Re: 1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

Very nice work! My jimmy will be that color.

As far as a bumper I have had great luck with this one

https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...029743&jsn=526

I have bought 2 of them and they are rechromed originals with USA chrome. You have to order them when they have them, they run out frequently. Make sure you get this number GMK4143000672A

They also have rechromed rear bumpers https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...029743&jsn=520

Here's a thread talking about them starting on page 2 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=742354

Good luck, Rg

Thanks.........the "little" 283 needs to breathe a little better than when it came from the factory. I like what I call "modified stock" looking parts.

I ended up buying a bumper from GMC Pauls. I have come to trust their products and customer service. I believe that they really care that their customers get a good quality product. VERY nice bumper and plating.
