1999 suburban rod knock, swap to 2000 suburban

My '99 suburban has a really bad rod knock. I found a replacement on craigslist but it is in a 2000 suburban. From the exterior the intakes look different. I am just now wrapping my head around these engines for swaps to older cars and all that I have looked at have a throttle body at the front of the engine. Mine is in the top middle of the intake. I have a picture attached. The one I'm looking at the throttle body is at the front and there are fuel rails on the outside of the manifold. I am guess this is the CSFI or MPFI setup. My question is can I easily swap for the MPFI engine without much hassle. This is just a work truck and I just want to get it on the road. Any info or direction would be great, Thank You

Both are Vortec's but 1 looks like 4.3 and the other sounds like the 5.3. Different beast with different electronics.

You have a gmt 400 truck. This should be in the 88-98 section. You are looking for a 96-02 5.7 v8. The 8th digit of the vin will be R. Crate engines are pretty cheap.

Bad craigslist add. Was listed as 5.7L but is actually a 5.3L. Well that solves that problem.
