Thanks! More rain for this weekend, but next weekend looks promising for being able to move in and wire it up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: New shop for the Blazer, truck, boat, camp, etc...

I guess I need to play catch-up for a bit. The weekend before Easter I didn't get anything done on the Blazer, but I did get a pile of dirt that was behind my shop moved up to the shop driveway to fill in low spots that were holding water. More importantly, without the pile of dirt behind the shop, I could use the brother-in-law's little tractor to finally install the A/C that I've had for almost a year! I need to do some more insulating in the shop to get the A/C to keep it really cool in there, but it is definitely an improvement, now that it is starting to get warmer.

The ac will be really nice this summer.

Is the ac a large through the wall self contained unit? Kinda like motels and some hotels have, though larger? I’ve never seen one.

Re: New shop for the Blazer, truck, boat, camp, etc...

Yes Doug, it is self contained but technically not through the wall. These units are typically used in industrial settings and only require a hole in the wall for the return and supply ducting. I just cut the hole big enough to fit the whole unit because of the corrugation of the tin making it harder to mount it flat to the wall. It is a 5 ton unit and all I had to do after mounting it was run 220V power and wire up a thermostat. I used a wi-fi enabled thermostat so that when I am coming home from work in TX, I can use my phone to start cooling off the shop.

Rob, it definitely helps!
