Task force front suspension on a AD truck?

How different are the front suspensions between the two? Could you make a 55 task force front axle work in an older ad truck? I'm not worried about spring perches it's the steering linkage I'm concerned about.

Won't work, the mounting spots for the spring pads on the axle are several inches further apart on the TF than the AD.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

The drag link is also different in length so are the steering arms. So nothing swaps.
