Re: 71 Napco

Very nice!!! If you can't save all of them in his field, I could haul one away this summer.

The NAPCO 3800 lb axle was offered with and without adapters to accommodate the DRW style drop center wheels. Here are two different 72 DRWs with the optional Warn free wheeling hubs.

Having seen several 1-ton DRW NAPCOs running singles up front though I've wondered if it was a parts problem or an attempt to get more wheel cut with the axle's relatively narrow track.

I could use three or four since he has so many

That truck is awesome! Thanks for sharing. Also what are your plans for a bed after you restore it?

Re: 71 Napco

Sorry, so the front hubs don't have correct offset to match the rear?
They could be out a bit but who would complain?

The wheels sit in the same place. Generally when you have a dually rear they install the adapters to push the outside hub face out so you have dually wheels all the way around. 6 wheels that are the same, makes for easy swaps if needed. One spare tire/wheel. The way the truck sits now you need two spares.
