Introduction

I would like to introduce myself since this is my first post on this forum. My name is Tony and my wife and I are going to be rebuilding her father's '68 C10 SWB for a father's day/ birthday gift.

Our goal to start is pretty simple (get it cleaned up and running). This truck has been sitting for the last 20 years so I know I will need to change all fluids as well as flush/service brakes. I have only been able to briefly see the truck and it seems to be in very good condition for its age with only minor surface rust near gutter above driver door as well as rockers.

From what I have been told the truck has a built 327 and a Muncie 4sp. Truck has also been previously been lowered and is a coil spring truck.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

-Tony

Re: Introduction

I guess I'll say it first, " We Need Pictures"
What kind of resto do you have in mind?

Re: Introduction

I will get pictures when I can. The truck is currently in a very small garage with barely enough room to walk beside it. My wife and I would like to keep its original silver paint color, refresh the interior ext. He is not a fan of newer restomod trucks so we will keep the 15" alloys he put on it 30 years ago. I will hopefully have pictures in the next month.
