Convert 4X4 4-speed manual to auto questions?

Have 3/4T 4X4 with 4-speed manual/NP205 and want to convert to an automatic TH400.
I know I need adapter and the right spline count input shaft, but
What I specifically want to know is concerning the trans crossmember and transfer case crossmember.
Are they different for manual and automatics;
or are they interchangeable?
Has anyone done this and have any input?
Thanks
Ron
