Re: Squarebody Dash Repair -1st attempt

It’s flexible. This is what I used on, my Dad’s 96 Jaguar. I did his seats, and he had a crack in his door panel. Now this was my first time using it, so it’s not perfect be any means. I didn’t spend a lot of time with allowing it to dry, for sanding, and then reapplying. He was up here from Florida, so I was on a time schedule. If I was able to have it for a longer period of time, I believe I could have done a better finish job. But here are some before and after pics.

He was! But then turned around and sold it several months later, when he went back to Florida. Someone saw it and offered him money that he couldn’t refuse.

EricU, do you have any close up pics of the texture on that dash?

I will get one when I start screwing it all back together.

I really like the texture as it is much more modern without looking out of place.

Re: Squarebody Dash Repair -1st attempt

Lots of guys have attempted it, but that is the best dash repair I have ever seen. I am really blown away, I will never throw away a cracked old dash again without at least trying to get this result.
