Bed stakes

Bed steaks, what do you think about them?
Does anyone have bed steaks on thier 67 to 72 truck?
If so, how about some pictures please and did you make them or does someone already sell them made?
Thanks.

Re: Bed stakes

I've always liked them on the older trucks before 50's or so but not too crazy about them on the later models like ours. With me I think it's a nostalgia thing. I remember old trucks with them in the old days. Farmers and ranchers had them on their trucks to carry supplies, produce or small farm animals. I don't know why they went out of favor later years. I think the loss of the small farmer and the introdcution of the big mega super stores.
