H.r. 350

I read the rules, but didn't see anything about political post. Hope I'm not violating a rule of any sort.

Last year the EPA pushed to try to make it illegal for people to convert their road vehicle, and motorcycles, into competition type vehicles. There's a new House Resolution to make it legal for people to do just that. It's supported by the AMA, here a link to the petition letter, https://cqrcengage.com/amacycle/app/...p88fkfHgI&lp=0 Since this is a car enthusiast site, I thought some of you might be interested in this.

It's not a scam of any kind. Just look it up.

Re: H.r. 350

I don't consider posting info about automotive legislation as political in the sense mentioned in the forum rules.

We need to know about these things, and a forum like this is a good place to find out about laws that directly affect us.

I am a mod and I approve this message HOWEVER it is not to turn into a free for all and political ... and the link when I clicked it came up as page not found so if the OP could just fix that and we can discuss as long as it doesn't turn political

Here's a link to a SEMA release on the subject.

I think the EPA will back off now.

Ok, I will fix it. My intent was never to start any kind of political debate. It was just information and a letter that people could send on their own.

Here is the link to the AMA (American Motorcycle Assoc.) website. It should work. https://cqrcengage.com/amacycle/

Re: H.r. 350

As DavisChevy mentioned, I do not find this political either. This is pertinent news that will affect our hobby and needs to be brought out in public for everyone to absorb.

Thank you for sharing this news with us.
