Heres My Next Project 68 C10,what A Poc

Just Bought This Today For $400 The Guy Had Took It Apart And Then Quit On It (doesn't That Happen A Lot) Truck Is In Fair Shape Diffinently Worth Saving,he Said It Had 327 But Ran #'s Came Up 74 350 Also Has 3 Speed On Column I Don't Know What Bed Looks Like Yet Too Full Of Junk But I Seen Holes From Bottom, learned You Shouldn't Unload One By Yourself Since It Ran Off Side Of Trailer On Me,no Damage Other Than Trailer Light I Plan On Building This One And Then Selling Other One But Thats Going To Be A Long Time From Now.

You are one brave soul to attempt to resurrect that truck, I have to commend you on that! That truck is way beyond anything I would ever consider building.

I would check the casting # on that motor again some of the 350's used the same block as the 327. I have 2 of them. Check the casting date on the blocke you may just have a stock 327.

Re: Heres My Next Project 68 C10,what A Poc

68 shortbox casting # is 3970010 which can be a 327 or 350 but I ran engine id #'s on pad and it came up 74 model 350 according to nastyz28 ......yeah guys it is rough after looking it over good today I believe the doors, cab, hood, and maybe bedsides will be only things useable hopefully the engine can be rebuilt but it is locked up right now.
