starting work

Getting ready to start replacing rusted panels on my 71 cheyenne, the usual stuff, inner/outer rocker panels,front/rear pillars, cab to frame bushings, etc. Along with the mentioned stuff, all 4 of my cab supports need to be replaced. Getting under the truck, I can see where the supports sit on top of the inner cab supports. I guess my question is , after I support the cab with a brace and jack, I should remove the worn out bushings then air chisel the braces out ? Also when I install the new braces and bushings should I wait to mig the new braces to the floor pan till after the other panels, i.e. pillars, rocker panels, are installed. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.
