New guy from hastings ne

Hello guys and gals! Bought a 1969 c10 pickup with a 350 small and a turbo hydra-matic tranny! Been having questions on radio and starting issues! I bought a pioneer system don't know how to put it in becuase old harness for my original is gone but the decks there still. Then my truck won't start bought new pigtail for it turns over but nothing goes!!!

Welcome man. I'm new too. Like to see some pics of the truck. As far as the stereo harness you may be able to get a new harness from LMC or classic industries. I've never looked because mine didn't even have a radio from the factory haha. The starting problems, someone else here is probably more qualified than me to help you there. It could be a lot of things. Have you made sure your carburetor is spraying fuel as it should when you move the throttle cable? Or played with the distributor any? Could be something as simple Fuel or timing.

She is gorgeous! I looked through my LMC catalog last night and they have the Stereo harness, don't remember the price though

Thanks dude! She is a pain but she was a pile when I got her. She was like Frankenstein when I go got ER broken headlight bad tires white rims. Came along way!

My 72 is a freaking mess still, only thing I've managed to do is tear things apart. You've made more progress than I probably will in the next 10 years, lmao

ONLY thing bugging me I s is the stock radio harness was cut and i don’t lnow how to I fall an aftermarket one.

I'm pretty sure LMC also sells full wiring diagram books. If they include the radio it should tell you what color wires are what. The harness would come with its own diagram. Should be just a matter of matching them up after that. Or possibly someone on one of the forums here could tell you what color wire is what.

Heads up i got the radio going!!!! Had to redneck it if that tells you to. Had to go to the postive connection then to the ground and then the fuse block
