Ideas

I have enjoyed this forum for a while you guys have done some amazing work. I have a 72 C20 2wd and a 97 4wd. The tranny went out on the 97 and I would like to use this to start building my 72 any suggestions.

Re: Ideas

Personally I would snag the motor out of the '97 especially if its a 350. It will have a roller cam, Vortec heads, and serpentine setup. If your game to convert to EFI you could harvest the fuel tank from the 97 as well as ECM and modify the harness provided you have the patience, ability, and know how. I myself would look for a Edelbrock intake and run a traditional qjet for simplicitys sake. The interior from the 97 would be a huge comfort upgrade from stock 72 interior. Just one mans opinions.
