Friction pads?
Door hinge pins and bushings I understand.

you know how when you open the door and theres that hard spot that holds it all the way open.....maybe thats what its talkin about?

Yes, the friction pads are above and below the door stop in the center of the top hinge, they are the little funny looking little square things.
