!st Annual NW '67-'72 Chev & GMC Meeting

Not to upstage those guys from CA and AZ but we really need to have a meeting up here in WA. We were going to do this last year during the Good Guys Car Show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. We could also meet at Pacific Raceways for Chevrolet Night drags. This might be on the same weekend. Comments and suggestions welcome.

I'm there. Just tell me where. Sorry, don't have any good suggestions of when or where. Maybe try to hold out as long as possible, get closer to the nice weather.

I'd go, but considering my truck is just a frame right now it won't.

Count me in. Pacific Raceway sounds like a great idea!

I'm planning on going to the Good Guys show - hopefully my truck is running right by then so I can take it. I've never been to Pacific Raceway - I know it is near Kent though.

The other option is to have an informal get together at one of the local parks. Maybe something like Lake Sammamish. I don't know many of the parks but it should be a large one with a big parking lot.

Bouncytruck has a good idea about the parks. Hmm, Lake Sammamish, hot summer sun, trucks, trucks pull Boats right... I got my shorts on already!

I like the Pacific Raceway idea too. Nothing like some drag raceing to bring car guys together.

Hi guys, I thought that joshtrans68 had a good place once. Did anything become of that? A park would be nice for a get together. All years or just 67 to 72? Either way I would be there.

I will certainly be there. Is there going to be a Super Chevy show at Pacific Raceway this year?

A park may not be too good an idea. Alot of people go to parks to get away from loud trucks and large groups of people. Besides, you just KNOW some one will do a burn out...some one always does it.
Just my 5 cents on that.

Portland International Raceway did for cruise-ins.
