Oh so the frame is 1976?

The frame might have been too dirty to feel for other numbers. I'll wash it tonight and try again.

Maybe. July is right on the cusp of model changeover, so maybe produced in 1976 calendar year for the 1977 model year.

I do not recall any big changes between '76 and '77 with the frames, chassis or suspension.

Re: Can anyone identify my frame

I feel like one of the biggest identifiers is my emergency brake cable holder. The only vehicles I've seen with this kind of parking brake cable mount have been the K5 blazers. But the frame on a K5 Blazer isn't very long and my frame has been cut to a short frame so maybe that doesn't make sense.

Re: Can anyone identify my frame

So your frame has a splice in it.

The front may be from one frame and the rear part from another truck.
