Are these Supremes? Can you run Astro Supremes on our trucks?
Can you run them or are they too heavy of a truck to run them?
I bought some knock off Cragars that was on a Full Size Chevy truck but have heard that you should not use the Supremes on a truck. Are these supremes or just a Cragar no name knockoff

a 1/2 ton truck is lighter than a 60's impally... but, double checking with the wheel maker is still a good idea, esp if you wanna haul stuff.

They look like supremes. I don't see why you can't run them on a truck. I had a set on my 68 Impala. Was a factory 396 4 speed car. Weighed 4200 and I didn't have a problem for about 31,000 miles.

Re: Can you run Astro Supremes on our trucks?
Those are Astros or a close copy. Look closely on the back as to how the center spoke section is affixed to the outer rim. The good ones have some kind of steel stiffener visible with full circumference weld. The cheaper ones are welded in spots, not full way around.
As to using on a truck, that's a hard question. Lots of guys run them on heavy full size cars. On the HAMB and Los Boulevardos boards, the guys with heavy rides make sure and use the best Supremes with the full welds on the back though. There have been reports of cracking too though. It's your call. Mag type lug nuts with the washers by the way. If you ever care to sell them, let me know. I'm going to be getting some for my Falcon soon. It's a light car so I don't care whether I get the regular or heavy duty Supremes for it.
