1950: tailgate letters painted white-black when new??

When these trucks were new (mine is a '50) did the factory paint the tailgate letters or surround a contrasting color like later years??

Thanks,

Steve weim55 Colorado

My original paint on the 50 was all body color no white lettering.
Only accent color was a beltline stripe around the cab

That's what I thought, thanks for that. Is the area behind your grill bars painted white on your '50 as well?

Thanks,
