Is this factory?

Its some sort of helper spring... I believe it isn't because i haven't seen any with or heard any of it but im not positive... It was pretty sketchy... wood blocks were placed in the frame rails for "Support"

Not stock. Stock helper springs were a single leaf that hit the trailing arm behind the coil spring, not in front of.

Aftermarket. You could buy those at parts stores.

I have seen several different types.

Useful. Ugly but useful.

Not sure if its factory or not but my 67 chevy truck has all coil and the single leaf is called a over load spring
