98 LS1 Questions?

Will a LS6 intake manifold and cams work for an ls1?

Re: 98 LS1 Questions?

I'd like to know how many LS variants there are. I'm pleading the 5th on this one because I am not educated on LS series. Until recently, I thought the LSx was an option. Then I had a flash back to college algebra and realized X was a variable. Lol

Re: 98 LS1 Questions?

Okay thanks. The reason why I asked was because, I was planning on getting a 5.3 LS (w/ a LS6 intake) for my c10 but then I found a deal on this LS1 from a mechanic shop here if town.

He pulled it out of a wrecked camaro years ago and it sat in his shop ever since. It came with wire harness, ecu, transmission, etc for a total of $500. I know the owner personally so I hopped on the deal.

Just not sure what to do with it as far as performance wise.

Re: 98 LS1 Questions?

That is a smoking deal

You might ask a mod to move this thread to the LSX Swaps section. You are more likely to get an answer to your cam question there.
