LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread

Has it been over 5 years since a truck has been shown? I have these light trucks on my newer laptop. First one belongs to a member here and I'm not sure who. It's a NAPCO. EDIT: I removed that picture because it is shown above by Blazerman... yellow flatbed

There is Fire Equipment picture thread in "Heavy Haulers" for various year trucks. This one was started to show 67-72 trucks

The other thread. Lots of fire Trucks: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...gency+euipment Enjoy!

When I say put a rock behind the tire, I mean a ROCK! What would it take to get the complete grille out of the '70 next to it?

Damn, that's a beauty. Cherry Red Gumball machine. And WTF, a high pressure manifold, where Door #4 would be? Love that K/20 Panel Truck.

Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread

Here's a 3/4 ton Chevy brush truck that came up for sealed bids a while ago here in North Dakota. I was really tempted to submit a bid but it would have meant selling my '68.

It had duals. I'm guessing it was some sort of period custom job. I looked at it in person and it seemed to be in pretty nice shape.

Re: Fire & Rescue Picture Thread

Thanks for digging this one back up. I must've missed it while I was not doing the 67-72 hobby for a few years. Here are a few pics hanging around on my hard drive, I don't think any of them are already posted.

I won't tell! J/K, I think I'm going to have to go buy some stainless tube and make a custom grill.
